Delete your account and data
You can delete your Darwin account from the app, or request deletion without installing or opening the app.
From the app
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings → Account → Data Management → Delete account and data.
- Read the confirmation and type DELETE when asked.
Request deletion by email
Email sean@phoenixstrategies.ai with the subject Darwin account deletion. Send the request from the email address associated with your Darwin account, or identify the sign-in method you used. We verify that you own the account before processing the request. Never send your password, payment information, or sign-in codes.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes your Firebase sign-in account and the associated Darwin profile, tasks, goals, notes, rankings and comparison history, planned blocks, focus sessions, synced preferences, and uploaded goal images handled by Darwin's deletion workflow. Deletion is permanent. Export anything you want to keep first.
Delete selected data and keep your account
You can delete individual tasks and goals in the app. To request deletion of selected data without closing your account, email sean@phoenixstrategies.ai with the subject Darwin data deletion, identify the account, and describe the categories of data to remove. Do not include private task text unless needed to identify the requested records.
Retention and subscriptions
Ordinary task deletion may retain a recoverable copy for up to 30 days; account deletion removes the active account data through the deletion workflow. Analytics events have a default 90-day retention and optional session replay a default 30-day retention. Provider backups, security logs, and purchase records may remain for the limited periods required by the provider or applicable legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and security obligations. These records are not retained as an active Darwin task account. Contact us about removing support feedback or other retained records associated with your request.
Deleting a Darwin account does not cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription. Cancel subscriptions separately in your store account to stop future charges. Account deletion does not itself create a refund.
